A national or international "one rate" type of plan normally best serves business travelers; it doesn't matter if you are in the neighboring state or in Canada. If you go to Europe, but are only there two or three times a year, using the "global phone" and paying for roaming could cost a fortune, up to a dollar a minute. A good solution might be to buy a prepaid phone card in the country you are visiting and buy a prepaid wireless card when you are there. |
